AOTGA Welcomes Vietnam Airlines’ Inaugural Flight on Ho Chi Minh City – Phuket Route

On July 2, 2026, AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA) joined the welcoming ceremony for the inaugural Vietnam Airlines (VN) flight on the route from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) to Phuket International Airport (HKT). Flight VN621, operated by an Airbus A321, arrived at Phuket International Airport at 5:50 p.m. (Thailand time).

Mr. Siriwat Tovachirakul, President of AOTGA, assigned Mr. Jate Bulsuk, Executive Vice President – Operating Office, together with the AOTGA team, to welcome the inaugural flight alongside Mr. Suvit Pansangiam, Vice Governor of Phuket Province, Mr. Thuanchai Tansuriyawong, Deputy General Manager, Phuket International Airport, Mrs. Maninthorn Tiemtatsana, Vice President, Commercial and Aeronautical Business Development Department, Airports of Thailand (AOT), Ms. Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Pol.Lt.Col. Prapas Khattiya, Deputy Superintendent, Immigration, Mr. Nucha Jeeradit, Director, Phuket International Airport Customs Office, Customs and H.E. Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Thailand, who honored the occasion by joining the welcoming ceremony.

In addition to the airport reception, a Dinner Reception was held in the evening at Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa to celebrate the launch of the new route. General Supavat Cherdtham, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AOTGA, attended the event and presented commemorative gifts to the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Thailand and representatives of Vietnam Airlines in celebration of the airline's inaugural service. The reception also served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships and discuss future operational cooperation between the airline and relevant organizations.

This marks the continuation of AOTGA's ground handling partnership with Vietnam Airlines following the airline's selection of AOTGA as its ground handling service provider at Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in 2023, supporting both scheduled commercial flights and charter operations.
