On July 8, 2025, AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA) welcomed Maldivian on the occasion of the airline selecting AOTGA as its Line Maintenance service provider at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
Representing AOTGA, Mr. Niwat Thanintrawat, Commercial Director, Ms. Pattarasuda Sanluang, Technical Marketing and Training Coordinator Manager, and Ms. Kunlada Chantarakupt, Safety and Compliance Monitoring Manager, together with the AOTGA team, presented a flower basket to express congratulations and appreciation to Ms. Jitchada Saijampa, Station Manager Bangkok, Maldivian Ground Operations.
The service was marked by flight Q2342, operated by an Airbus A320, arriving from Velana International Airport (MLE) and landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) at 03:05 a.m. (Thailand time).
Maldivian was established in 2000 under the name Island Aviation Services, a state-owned enterprise of the Maldives, and was rebranded as Maldivian in 2008 to strengthen its identity as the national airline. The airline is headquartered in Malé, the capital of the Maldives.
Currently, Maldivian operates international routes across five countries, including China (Chengdu (TFU), Shanghai (PVG), Beijing (PEK), Shenzhen (SZX)), India (Kochi (COK), Thiruvananthapuram (TRV), Bengaluru (BLR)), Thailand (Bangkok (BKK), Saudi Arabia (Jeddah – (JED)), and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur – (KUL)).
