On June 18, 2026, AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA), led by Ms. Tomyantee Kongpoolsilpa, Executive Vice President – Strategy Office, together with AOTGA employees, represented the company in delivering plastic bottles collected through the “Plastic Bottle Donation for Monastic Robes” project. The initiative encouraged employees to donate used PET plastic water bottles generated from their daily activities in order to promote waste separation, raise environmental awareness, and provide an opportunity for employees to transform waste into something meaningful.
Throughout the project (April – May 2026), AOTGA collected more than 193.57 kilograms of plastic bottles, which were donated to Wat Chak Daeng, Samut Prakan Province, to be recycled into monastic robes. Through the recycling process, 15 plastic bottles can be transformed into one robe, while the project also contributed to a reduction of approximately 199.57 kgCO2eq in greenhouse gas emissions.
In addition to reducing plastic waste and minimizing environmental impacts, the project also supports local community initiatives surrounding Wat Chak Daeng through the sorting and recycling of materials into valuable products. The initiative aligns with AOTGA’s ESG approach across all three dimensions: Environmental responsibility through waste reduction, Social contribution through community support, and Governance through responsible resource management.
AOTGA remains committed to encouraging employee participation in environmental stewardship and social contribution alongside sustainable business operations. The company believes that meaningful change begins with everyday actions and that small efforts, when carried out collectively, can create lasting positive impacts for society and the environment.
