AOTGA Celebrates Chinese New Year with Auspicious Fans for Passengers

AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA) organized a Chinese New Year celebration activity on February 17, 2026. AOTGA executives and staff, together with Mr. Nitiroj Kitjaroen, Head of Ground Operations, Thai AirAsia X Co., Ltd., Ms. Savitree Thaitanom, Station Manager of Batik Air Malaysia, and Ms. Yu Jiali, Station Manager of Spring Airlines, distributed auspicious fans to passengers traveling with Thai AirAsia X, Batik Air Malaysia, and Spring Airlines at Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).

The fan is considered a symbol of good fortune during Chinese New Year. In Chinese, the word for “fan” (扇, shàn) shares the same pronunciation as “善” (shàn), meaning “goodness” or “virtue.” It represents kindness, positivity, and auspiciousness. Additionally, fans symbolize coolness and the removal of negativity, making them a sign of good luck, prosperity, and welcoming positive energy into life. Through this activity, AOTGA extends its best wishes for happiness, prosperity, and good fortune to all passengers during the festive season.

The activity received a warm response from passengers traveling on airlines served by AOTGA at Don Mueang Airport. AOTGA would like to thank all airline partners for their continued trust and support, and wishes everyone happiness, prosperity, and good fortune throughout the year and beyond
