AOTGA Becomes Thailand’s First Ground Handler to Receive IATA Enhanced GSE Recognition

AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA) has been awarded the Enhanced Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Recognition certification by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This certification recognizes ground support equipment that complies with internationally recognized standards, directly contributing to enhanced safety for both aircraft operations and passengers.

As ground support equipment is one of the main causes of aircraft ground damage incidents, AOTGA’s achievement of this certification further demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to operational safety and service excellence for airlines and passengers alike.

The IATA Enhanced GSE Recognition Program is an aviation industry standard designed to certify the operational quality and safety of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) fleets used by ground handling service providers. The program aims to improve operational efficiency and safety standards while minimizing the risk of incidents that could result in damage to aircraft or impact passengers. The certification also serves as a recognized benchmark for the safety and reliability of a ground handler’s equipment.

AOTGA is currently the only ground handling service provider in Thailand to receive this certification and is also one of only eight ground handling service providers in Asia recognized under the program.
