AOTGA and Emirates Discuss Airport Truck Link Service Connecting Suvarnabhumi and Phuket via Multimodal Transportation Center

On June 11, 2026, AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA) led by Mr. Siriwat Tovachirakul, President, assigned Mr. Niwat Thanintrawat, Commercial Director, to represent the company in welcoming Mr. Matthias Presiss, Regional Cargo Operation Manager of Emirates, for a discussion on the implementation of the Airport Truck Link service for cargo transportation and handling between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Phuket International Airport.

The initiative aims to strengthen connectivity between international and domestic cargo transportation networks through the Multimodal Transportation Center, which serves as a centralized cargo management facility. The center supports multimodal transport operations, enabling an efficient mode shift from air transportation to road transportation under standardized customs supervision.

Through this integrated logistics solution, cargo arriving on international flights at Suvarnabhumi Airport can be seamlessly transferred to Phuket International Airport by truck, ensuring fast, secure, and traceable cargo movement throughout the entire transportation process.

Following the meeting, the Emirates delegation, together with AOTGA executives, and business partners, toured the operational areas of the Multimodal Transportation Center and cargo warehouse facilities. The visit included inspections of cargo storage areas, warehouse management systems, cargo control and tracking processes, providing valuable insight into AOTGA’s operational capabilities and readiness for future collaboration.

This collaboration reflects AOTGA’s commitment to advancing integrated air cargo logistics solutions and strengthening the role of the Multimodal Transportation Center as a key hub for multimodal cargo connectivity in Thailand. The initiative is expected to enhance cargo distribution efficiency, reduce transit times, and better serve the evolving needs of airlines and logistics customers.
