The Kyrgyz Republic's National Airline, Aero Nomad, Begins Service at Phuket International Airport

On December 5, 2024, AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA) hosted a welcome event for Aero Nomad Airlines, the national carrier of the Kyrgyz Republic, as it commenced ground handling services with AOTGA at Phuket International Airport (HKT). The event was led by Mr. Paruehas Prommachan, Operations Director - Phuket International Airport; Ms. Saranya Modchana, Passenger Services Manager; and the AOTGA Phuket International Airport team, who warmly welcomed the inaugural flight.

The flight, KA7797, operated by an Airbus A320-200, arrived from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) at 11:10 AM local time and later departed from Phuket International Airport (HKT) for its return journey to CCU at 1:05 PM local time.

Aero Nomad Airlines is the national carrier of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan), established in 2021. Its main hub is at Bishkek Manas International Airport (FRU), the primary airport of Kyrgyzstan. The airline launched its first operation on November 19, 2021, with a direct route from Kyrgyzstan to Delhi, India, using its first aircraft, an Airbus A320-200.

Since its inception, Aero Nomad Airlines has expanded its network to several international destinations and has plans to further extend its services to China, Pakistan, Turkey, and various countries in Europe and the Middle East in the near future.
