About AOTGA

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has entered a joint venture agreement with SAL Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SAL), an airport ground support equipment rental and other services, to establish AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd.(AOTGA) with an aim to provide ground equipment services at all airports under AOT’s responsibility.

AOTGA was established in 2018 to provide a full suite of ground handling services to airlines in. The company is guided by its philosophy is to provide personal, safe and efficient experiences to its customers, exceeding expectations in the process. The company employs a thoroughly trained and motivated work force, capable of expertly servicing. Its facilities are maintained at the highest international standards, with an emphasis on stringent security and safety procedures.

Passenger Services

AOTGA passenger service agents welcome and check-in passengers. We offer the frontline customer service to passengers. AOTGA passenger service agents check all  passengers departure documentation, also extend customer service and information to passengers. Moreover, we check-in passenger baggage, provide luggage labels and check a passenger's baggage according to airline specifications and processes additional charges when necessary.

Our teams are responsible for coordinating the boarding of passengers onto aircraft, as well as deplaning. When it is time to board, we check each passenger's boarding pass. We announce boarding times and any news related to the flight. Passengers in the gate area can board a plane at specific times according to seating class and row and make sure no one gets left behind.

Transit and Transfer Services

Passengers who have a transit/transfer stop of less than 24 hours  between the departure and the arrival , who continue their travel with the same or different airline company or who continue their travel with the same flight number, our team will help you complete procedures at security, immigration, baggage drop off and collection.

Lost and Found

Passenger service agent provides assistance for passengers who have lost items. Our team helps passengers with all baggage irregularities and ensures that they receive quick, dependable and friendly service at all times. Answers phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding lost items. Accepts found items from multiple sources and enters items in our computerized system.

Assistance for passengers with reduced mobility

AOTGA also help, assist and board passengers with special needs, such as those in wheelchairs with any special request they may have, such as helping passengers with limited mobility or escorting unaccompanied minors to and from the airplane. Our professional team have the ability to deal with high-stress and fast-changing conditions, and also have the ability to effectively communicate with customers.

Airport Ticketing

AOTGA are expected to sell flights and other products the airline may offer, as well as assist passengers with inquiries or other requests, such as flight changes or cancellations, collecting charges for excessive baggage. We provide information regarding dates, schedules, availability, and prices of flights.

AOTGA is a leading provider of ramp handling, offering a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of your airline. All ramp agents are fully trained in every aspect of ramp handling and operations for the airlines the company represents. This ensures the demands of the airline are always met with the highest level of service, even during irregular operations.

Complex planning, co-ordination and communication equates to AOTGA’s precise system of ramp and loading services which are controlled by skilled professionals and supported by modern, well maintained equipment.

Ramp services teams will handle your aircraft safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and timely departures.

Ground Support Equipment Services

AOTGA supports ground equipment to aircraft such as aircraft moving, air-condition unit, ground power unit, air starter unit, toilet service truck, water service truck, and passenger step. All vehicles comply with safety regulations and manufacturer quality standards.

Baggage Handling

AOTGA deliver a wide range of aircraft handling functions, including aircraft loading and unloading. Luggage sorting is conducted at Baggage Sorting Area of the Passenger Terminal. We are responsible for making sure that all the suitcases are quickly and carefully delivered for so that people can collect them or they are transferred on to the next flight. We work accurately while taking care not to cause damage and make sure that nothing is lost or broken that the passengers and planes are safe and secure. Our team ensures each aircraft is loaded with bags in a way that meets with the airline and aircraft specifications.

Marshalling

We also handle ramp operations such as marshaling to guide aircraft that have landed to their correct position. We achieve appropriate navigation. We support ground navigation operations upon takeoff and landing safely and efficiently.

Cabin Cleaning

Our experienced teams create memorable and positive customer experiences for our airline partners. Our services include quick turn cleans, terminating aircraft cleans and deep cleans. Stripping, cleaning, sanitizing, changing out of head net, laundry services and cabin dressing in accordance with the airlines cabin presentation requirements. Removal of rubbish in accordance with the local government quarantine requirements and liaison with the ground handling crew to ensure an efficient aircraft turnaround.

GSE Maintenance

Our team of skilled GSE technicians are highly trained in all aspects of GSE maintenance. We are certified for work by different GSE manufacturers, and have extensive experience in working with GSE. Regular trainings are conducted at manufacturers site for improving their skills and knowledge about last trends. We are striving to increase aircraft availability at the highest quality while remaining cost efficient, we can enhance your operational performance and improve cost efficiency.

AOTGA controls the flow of services and ensures safe and smooth operations. We are a centralized communication and control center to ensure the availability of sufficient resources at all times. Our teams are effectively monitor and control ground operations by engaging the teams, each with their different but complementary areas of responsibility. The benefit of this for customers is quick turnarounds, minimal delays and high on-time-performance.

 We through their integrated system of monitoring all ramp activities required for a successful and time-efficient aircraft turn-around, their track-in for all ramp and cabin activities ensures that precision timings are followed or disruptions are mitigated to ensure a safe and secure handling of flights

Flight Operation

 

Our team understand the tasks performed by air traffic controllers, including Interaction and effective communication between aircraft and air traffic controllers; execution of follow-up activities, and ensuring smooth operations during flights. We ensure best practice standards are adopted and all regulatory requirements met, monitor the departure and arrival times of aircraft; ensure that flights run on time, apply a series of airport safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for airport crews. Our expert aviation personnel provide support to help you meet the strictest safety requirements and continually monitor for delays that could impact your overall operation.

Load Control

AOTGA’s meticulous flight operations and load control services ensure the precise functioning of all flights. Our team is qualified to provide weight and balance documentation in accordance with legal requirements and safety regulations. It is our responsibility to ensure that accurate generated weight and balance data is in order at all times while complying with safety regulations in keeping all operations running efficiently.

Turnaround Corordinator

Our teams do perform overall supervision of flight and responsible for the safety, on time departure of flight and maintain customer service level. Ensure all key staffs are aware of the Standard Time Departure / Estimate Time Departure and monitor and record of all service to customer. We meet the aircraft and commence driving turnaround and record the information required by the carrier or handling company. Moreover, we are required to regular communicate with crew, gate, ramp and operation.

We conduct ad hoc briefing to ramp staff which requires immediate action and focus on the safety and punctuality. Besides, we keep timely report safety and security related incident to concerned department for follow up.
