» Edelweiss Air resume flight from Zurich to Phuket
Edelweiss Air restarts its commercial flights from Zurich to Phuket. Due to Thailand’s reopening plan starting from 1 November 2021 to vaccinated foreign visitors from 63 countries without quarantine requirements, Thai government expects the border reopening would generate tourism revenue to the country and would help revitalize national economy after a year of restriction.
Edelweiss Air first return flight, WK050, departed from Zurich International Airport and arrived at Phuket International Airport at 07.50 a.m. The flight was carried out by Airbus340-300 bringing around 200 passengers to the island of Phuket again. The airline was warmly welcomed by a water cannon salute and received souvenirs upon arrival from AOTGA’s representatives. The airline’s staff also took photos with AOTGA team to mark as a special occasion.

» วันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2564 ซึ่งเป็นวันเดียวกันกับที่ประเทศไทยได้ประกาศเปิดประเทศรับนักท่องเที่ยวจากประเทศต่าง ๆ กว่า 63 ประเทศแบบไม่ต้องกักตัว ตามนโยบายของนายกรัฐมนตรี โดยวันนี้ บริษัท บริการภาคพื้น ท่าอากาศยานไทย จำกัด (AOTGA) ได้ให้การต้อนรับเที่ยวบินของสายการบิน Edelweiss Air ซึ่งเป็นสายการบินแรก ในเที่ยวบิน WK050 ซึ่งเดินทางจากท่าอากาศยานซูริคมายังท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต เวลา 07.50 น. ด้วยเครื่องบิน Airbus A340-300 จำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติที่เดินทางมากับเที่ยวบินดังกล่าวกว่า 200 คน โดยทาง AOTGA ในฐานะผู้ให้บริการภาคพื้นและคลังสินค้า ณ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต ยังได้เข้าร่วมแสดงความยินดีและมอบของที่ระลึกกับตัวแทนสายการบินและพร้อมทั้งถ่ายภาพร่วมกับตัวแทนสายการบิน Edelweiss Air เพื่อเป็นการต้อนรับและแสดงความขอบคุณถึงความร่วมมือที่ดีต่อกันและที่เชื่อมั่นในการบริการของบริษัทฯ
