» AOTGA welcomes the resumption of Air Asia Berhad’s flights to Phuket

Fully vaccinated travelers from several low-risk countries now can fly to Thailand with no quarantine requirements as the reopening officially began from 1 November 2021. Thai and foreign residents who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will be allowed to freely travel to Thailand without quarantine under Test & GO program (T&G). Phuket International Airport is the gateway to Thai Andaman Sea and Southern Thailand.

5 November 2021, Air Asia Berhad resumed its service to Phuket today as the island welcomes visitors once again. The flight, AK842, departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), Malaysia and arrived at Phuket International Airport (HKT) at 11.50 a.m. using Airbus320 (A320). The representatives of AOT Ground Aviation Services Company (AOTGA) attended the inaugural flight ceremony to mark the resumption of Air Asia Berhad’s services. Mr. Arun Lilapantisitti (Phuket Station Manager), a representative of Air Asia Berhad, received souvenirs and took photos with AOTGA team. The airline is our 12th customer joining the Phuket Sandbox program and is the 2nd airline flying into Phuket according to the reopening plan.

AOTGA is really delighted to be helping support the Thai government’s efforts and all domestic and international airlines to restart tourism, aviation industry and other local businesses.

ล่าสุด วันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2564 สายการบิน Air Asia Berhad ได้นำนักท่องเที่ยวเข้ามายังจังหวัดภูเก็ต บนเที่ยวบินที่ AK842 ซึ่งออกเดินทางจากท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติกัวลาลัมเปอร์ (KUL) ประเทศมาเลเซีย มาถึงท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต (HKT) เวลา 11:50 น. ด้วยเครื่องบินแบบ Airbus A320 บริษัท บริการภาคพื้น ท่าอากาศยานไทย จำกัด (AOTGA) ในฐานะผู้ให้บริการภาคพื้นเที่ยวบินดังกล่าวได้เข้าร่วมต้อนรับแสดงความยินดีและมอบของที่ระลึก พร้อมทั้งถ่ายภาพร่วมกับคุณอรุณ ลิลาพันธิสิทธิ ผู้จัดการสายการบินแอร์เอเชีย ประจำจังหวัดภูเก็ต Air Asia Berhad นับเป็นลูกค้าสายการบินรายที่ 12 ที่ AOTGA ให้บริการ ตั้งแต่เริ่มโครงการ Phuket Sandbox และเป็นสายการบินที่สองที่ทำการบินเข้ามายังจังหวัดภูเก็ต ตามนโยบายเปิดประเทศต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวแบบไม่กักตัวอีกด้วย

ทั้งนี้ AOTGA ขอเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสนับสนุนนโยบายเปิดประเทศ และสนับสนุนทุกสายการบิน ในการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมการบิน อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยว และอุตสาหกรรมต่าง ๆ ให้กลับมาฟื้นตัวอีกครั้ง
